Overview

The J&K Yateem Foundation was founded by Muhammad Rafiq Lone, who has also served as the organization's Chairman for multiple terms. It is registered as a Society under the Registrar of Societies, Jammu and Kashmir, with the registration number 3758-S of 2001 and registered with Home Ministry of India, under Foreign Contribution Regulations Act (FCRA). The foundation's headquarters is located at Baitul Hilal, 42-A, Al Farooq Colony, Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, Kashmir.[1][3]

Activities and Initiatives

The foundation's primary mission is to provide social services and welfare to the underprivileged and destitute individuals and families in the Jammu and Kashmir region.[4] Over the years, JKYF has undertaken various initiatives to achieve this goal, including[1][5] Annual Wall Calendar,[6][3] Humanitarian Assistance,[7][8] Educational Initiatives,[9] Seminars and Workshops.[10][11]
