James Rippey

James Rippey (born 1977) is a Scottish born international indoor and lawn bowler who has represented both Scotland and England. James has won national championships in both Scotland and England. James has become a regular qualifier for World Bowls Tour events and has been ranked as high as world number 17, as of 2019 he was ranked 21 by the World Bowls Tour.[2]

Career

He won his first national title Scottish national fours title aged just 17. Following a move to England, James won further national honors including winning the English indoor Triples title defeating Mark Dawes's triple in the final after losing to the same triple in the final two years earlier.[3]

International: James represented Scotland outdoors at a young age and went on to captain the U25s England outdoor side. Indoors he represented England until 2020 when he was able to represent his country of birth Scotland.
