Janka Molnár

Janka Molnár (born 5 January 2001) is a Hungarian track and field athlete. She has numerous Hungarian national titles over 400m hurdles, as well as 200 metres and 400 metres.[1]

Career

A member of BMTE athletics club in Budafok, Budapest.[2] Molnar competed in the 400m hurdles at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich in August 2022.[3] She also ran as part of the Hungarian team in the 4x400m relay team at the championships.[4] Molnar, along with Evelin Nádházy, Sára Mátó, and Fanni Rapai, ran a new indoor national record in the 4x400 meters, running 3:37.11 in Nyíregyháza.[5]

Competing at the 2023 European Team Championships, Molnar set a new personal best time in the 400 metres of 51.74 seconds.[6] She was selected for the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August 2023, named in the 400m hurdles, as well as the 4x400m women’s relay and the 4x400m mixed relay.[7]
