Jay Boogie

Jay Boogie (born Daniel Anthony Nsikan, June 26, 1998)[1] is a Nigerian transgender fashion enthusiast, brand influencer, social media personality and entrepreneur who founded JaySecrets. She became famous on Instagram in her early twenty's, her gender transition got Nigerians attention on social media platforms.[2] Jay boogie has been enlisted to be among the top ten crossdressers in Nigeria alongside Bobrisky and James Brown.[3] [4]

Early life and education

Jay Boogie was born in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State but hails from Akwa Ibom state. Jay boogie was born male but has always identified as a girl at a tender age.[2] Jay Boogie attended Methodist Comprehensive High School Port-Harcourt, Rivers State and Akwa Ibom state University, Uyo.[1]

Career

Jay Boogie is being sponsored by Queen Peace Michael, a commercial model and Winner of Face of Nigeria. She owns a fashion company Jay Brushes, which deals on make-up kits and JaySecrets, a beauty consultancy company. She owns JaySecrets, a beauty consultancy where she offers her own beauty products. Jay Boogie is also a dancer and has modeled for different brands across Nigeria.[5][6]
