Jo Shimoda

Jo Shimoda (born May 16, 2002, in Suzaka, Japan) is a professional Motocross rider competing in the AMA Supercross & Motocross championships for HRC Honda.[1] He is also the 2020 AMA 250SX Rookie of the year.

    Supercross

    During preparation for the 2023 250 East Supercross season, Shimoda suffered a shoulder injury. He was able to return for the last four rounds in where he finished fourth twice, ninth and second.[2]

    Motocross

    Shimoda struggled to find consistency in his outdoor season. He ended the season with one win and four podium finishes, which led him to a 3rd place finish in the standings.

    SuperMotocross

    Shimoda won the opening round of 250cc SMX with a 4-1 score.

    On Wednesday October 18, Shimoda announced his move from Pro Circuit Kawasaki to HRC Honda.
