Joanne Adamson

Joanne Adamson OBE (born 1967) is a British diplomat. She is Deputy Special Representative and Deputy Head in the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).[1][2][3][4][5]

Education

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Cambridge, and a Master's degree in public administration from Harvard University.[5]

Career

She graduated from University of Cambridge, and Harvard University. From 2011 to 2013, she was Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament.[6] From 2014 to 2016, she was Ambassador for the United Kingdom to Mali and Niger.[1]

From 2018 to 2021, she was Deputy Special Representative for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA)
