John Cox (footballer)

John Davies Cox (born 31 December 1870) was an English international footballer, who played as a right half.[1]

Not to be confused with Jack Cox (footballer) (1877–1955) or Jackie Cox (footballer) (1911–1990).

Career

Born in Spondon, Cox played professionally for Derby County, and earned one cap for England in 1892.[2]
