Jonathon Brooks (American football)
Jonathon Brooks (born July 21, 2003)[1] is an American football running back for the Texas Longhorns.

High School career
Brooks attended Hallettsville High School in Hallettsville, Texas. As a senior, he had 3,530 yards and 62 touchdowns on 295 carries.[2][3] He committed to the University of Texas at Austin to play college football.[4]
College career
As a true freshman at Texas in 2021, Brooks played in four games and had 21 carries for 143 yards and a touchdown. He played in seven games as a redshirt freshman behind Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson.[5] He finished the year 197 rushing yards on 30 carries with five touchdowns.[6][7] With Robinson and Johnson in the NFL, Brooks earned more carries in 2023.[8]
