The product is designed for topical use and should be applied directly to the skin, ideally at the base of the neck or between the shoulder blades where the dog cannot easily lick it off. The application should ensure that the product reaches the skin and not just the hair, for optimal effectiveness.[4] After application, the ingredients spread across the skin and coat, providing comprehensive protection.
