Kathy Bunka

Kathy Bunka is a Canadian diplomat. She served as Charge d'affaires of Canada to Slovakia from 2011 to 2016, and has been serving as Ambassador of Canada to Iraq since 2023.[1]

Education

Bunka was a student at Laurentian University from 1985 to 1990, at McGill University from 1991 to 1993, and at Harvard University from 1994 to 1996.[2]

Career

Bunka was the Chargé d'affaires of the Canadian Delegation to UNESCO from May to December 2008, Charge d'affaires of Canada to Slovakia from 2011 to 2016, and has been serving as Ambassador of Canada to Iraq since 2023.[1][3]
