Keanna Macinnes

Keanna Louise Macinnes (born 19 August 2001) is a swimmer from Scotland, who is a British Champion. In 2023 at the inaugural under-23 European Championships she won gold in the 100 and 200 metre butterfly events.[1][2]

Career

Macinnes made her Commonwealth Games debut at the age of 16, in the Women's 100m Butterfly, Women's 200m Butterfly and the Women's 4 × 100 m Medley Relay.[3] Four years later she competed in the same three events at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

She won the gold medal at the 2023 British Swimming Championships in the 100 metres backstroke.[4]

The success led to her selection for the 2023 World Championships.[5]
