The United States of America has many palaces throughout its vast territory.

  • Plaza de España - the site of the palace of the Spanish Governors of Guam. The palace itself was largely destroyed during the liberation of Guam however many outlying structures still stand and there are plans to possibly reconstruct the palace in the future.[2]

New Mexico

  • Palace of the Governors – Oldest continuously occupied public building in the United States. Originally built as a home for the governors of Santa Fe de Nuevo México, a province of the Viceroyalty of New Spain and later, a territory of Mexico. U.S. National Register of Historic Places, U.S. National Historic Landmark, U.S. Historic district Contributing property, NM State Register of Cultural Properties.[7]
