Lovari (musician)

Lovari is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. His single, "No Day Like Today", charted at #28 on Billboard's Dance Club chart in 2019 and his songs have been aired on MTV and VH1.[1][2][3] He has shared the stage with Dionne Warwick, Freda Payne, CeCe Peniston, and Tuck & Patti, among others.[4] As an actor, he has been featured in various TV series and films.

Early life

Anthony Lovari was born and raised in Queens, New York and began singing when he was three years old.[5][6]

Career

Lovari is a singer, songwriter, and actor. He has released five studio albums which have received favorable reviews.[7][8][9] Lovari's genres of music have been classified as pop, R&B, and EDM, and he cites musical influences as Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan, La Bouche, Donna Summer, Cher, and others.[10][11]

In 2013, Lovari released, "Take It To The Top", featuring Louise Robey from Friday the 13th: The Series[12] and in 2015 released, "Touch Me", a duet with actress Robin Byrd.

His single, "No Day Like Today", featuring Adam Barta, charted at #28 on Billboard's Dance Club chart and his music video, "Paparazzi" aired on MTV. "Moment of Love" charted at #1 on Amazon New Releases and on their Dance Pop Chart in 2020.[13] Lovari performed at the, Get IN, benefit for the Ali Forney Center program, along with Dionne Warwick, Freda Payne, CeCe Peniston, and Tuck & Patti, among others.[4]

As an actor, he has been featured in TV series such as Mysteries at the Museum, as well as playing smaller roles in films, Salt and We'll Never Have Paris. Lovari has been featured in films, Terror Toons, Thrust, and he was an associate producer and actor in The Barn II.[14][15] He has also been a game show contestant on Wheel of Fortune[16] and Match Game,[17] as well as appearing on Judge Jerry.[18]
