Career

Youth

When Villegas was 15, he played for the U-17 Cuban national team, where they had a match against an Boca Juniors Academy team, where a Boca Juniors offered him a signing for the club, which he declined to stay at Villa Clara.[1]

Villa Clara

Villegas made his debut for Villa Clara when he believed to have been either 16 or 17, right after he left the U-17 Cuban national team, against Camagüey, where Villa Clara won 5-0 and Villegas got a brace.[1]
