Luis Silva Irarrázaval

Luis Silva Irarrázaval (born in Santiago, March 24, 1978) is a Chilean lawyer, academic and Constitutional Council member.[1] In the 2023 Chilean Constitutional Council election held on May 7, 2023, he was elected with a total of 706,286 votes, 17.96% of the votes in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. He was the most voted person in the election.[1]

He is the son of the lawyer Luis Alejandro Silva Valdés and the journalist Soledad Irarrázaval Alfonso.[2][3] He is the oldest of seven siblings[4] among which is the director and screenwriter Sebastián Silva.[5]

Silva is known in social media as "Profe Silva".[6]
