Makeen Alikhan

Makeen Alikhan (born 10 October 2001) is an English rugby union player who plays for Harlequins in the Premiership as well as playing for Worthing RFC on dual registration.[1][2]

Career

Club

Alikhan captained Epsom College 1st XV to the National Schools Champions Trophy,[3] he was later named in the Schools Rugby 2019/20 Dream Team.[4]

He signed his first professional contract with Harlequins in 2021, making his debut against Saracens in the Premiership Rugby Cup. He made his debut for Worthing in a 17–0 win over Rochford Hundred.[5] He also made his Debut in Sam Palombo's Premiership Rugbys Fantasy league in the 23/24 season.

International

On 15 May 2020, he was called up the USA under-20 squad.[6][7]

Style of play

An elusive and abrasive player, known for his strong carrying and kissing, Alikhan can play across the backrow.[8]
