Maria Almasri

Maria Almasri (Hebrew: מריה אלמסרי; born 14 March 2004) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as a striker for Ligat Nashim club ASA Tel Aviv University.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]

Youth career

She was scouted at age 14 by the Israeli club Maccabi Kishronot Hadera F.C. and played there until 18 years old.

Although gifted with a certain talent, her seasons were never completely successful following numerous injuries.

In 2021–22, when Maria Almasri was due to sign for Division 1 Féminine club FC Girondins de Bordeaux (women), she failed the medical examination for recurring injuries.

This does not prevent her from bouncing back by signing for two years in July 2022 the Division 2 Féminine club Grenoble Foot 38 (women)

But as soon as she arrived at the French club, her recurring injuries resurfaced. She is therefore unfit to practice football until October 2022.[11] Despite a few titular matches. She brokes her contract in December 2022, and returns to Israel

Maria Almasri began her professional career in 2018 with the Academy Club.
