Mayeda Peak

Mayeda Peak (84°36′S 164°41′E) is a peak, 2,890 metres (9,480 ft) high, standing in the Marshall Mountains of the Queen Alexandra Range, Antarctica, 4.5 nautical miles (8 km) north of Mount Marshall. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Fred H. Mayeda, a United States Antarctic Research Program meteorologist at South Pole Station, 1959.[1]
