Menemerus desertus
Menemerus desertus is a jumping spider species in the genus Menemerus that lives in Algeria.[1] It was first described by Wanda Wesołowska in 1999.[1] The female and male are very distinctive.[2] The female is larger, 7.7 millimetres (0.30 inches) in length, with characteristic ridges.[2] The male is smaller, 5.2 millimetres (0.20 inches) long, with a very large dorsal tibial apophysis and characteristic embolus.[2]
