Early life
The daughter of agents Peter and Lizzy Morrissey, whose clients include Chris and Liam Hemsworth, Tina Arena and Kate Ritchie, she was brought up in Sydney and wanted to be an actress from five years old.[1][2]
Career
In 2012 Morrissey appeared aged sixteen years-old in the Damien Power short film Bat Eyes which was shown at the Venice Film Festival.[3][4] Morrissey appeared as a singer in 2014, when she competed on season three of The Voice Australia.[5] She also appeared in the Australian children’s television series In Your Dreams as Lucy Bryson.[6]
In 2019 she joined long-running soap opera Home and Away as Jade Lennox.[7] She left the show in 2020.[8]
In 2023 she could be seen in Totally Completely Fine alongside Thomasin McKenzie.[9] She could also be seen as Nadiyah in Tasmania-set comedy crime drama Deadloch.[10]
Personal life
Morrissey has Endometriosis although it was initially misdiagnosed as coeliac disease.[11]
