Michael Heinz Golding (born 23 May 2006) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Chelsea.

Club career

Born in Kingston, Golding started his career at the academy of AFC Wimbledon,[2] before joining Chelsea in 2018.[4] He signed his first professional contract in July 2023.[5] Golding started training with the first team squad in 2023–24 season.[4]

International career

Golding had represented England at under-16,[6] under-17 and under-18 level.[7][8] He had captained England at the 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.[9] Golding is also eligible to represent Republic of Ireland through his family.[10]
