Career
Federici began his professional career in Italy, specializing in secure coding and working on payment gateways and biotech software.[1]
In 2019, he relocated to Switzerland to manage the Blockchain Department of SEBA,[2] a Swiss bank that later became the world's first licensed bank to offer cryptocurrency accounts.[3]
In November 2021, he was elected to the CMTA's Expert Committee, under the chairmanship of Dr. Jean-Philippe Aumasson.[4]
Since leaving SEBA Bank in 2022, Federici has been working as an IT Security consultant for his advisory company sig9.
In 2023, he co-founded Unicrow, a decentralized and censorship-resistant escrow protocol.[5]
Open-source contributions
Federici is an open-source software advocate and contributor.[6][7]
In 2019, he was credited in the release notes of Bitcoin Core v0.18.1[8] for discovering a critical bug in the multisig wallet creation process.[9]
