Miss Universe Cambodia 2023

Miss Universe Cambodia 2023 was the 5th edition of the Miss Universe Cambodia pageant which was held on September 7, 2023, in Phnom Penh. Sotheary By Miss Universe Cambodia 2017 crowned Sotima John as her successor at the end of the event.[1]

Background

This is the first Miss Universe Cambodia edition which is under Mohahang Production (new license owner of Miss Universe Cambodia) after the past owner (Cambodia Models Agency) had their license terminated for sending their runners-up to other international pageants apart from Miss Universe.[2]

Location and date

The fifth edition of the Miss Universe Cambodia beauty contest was scheduled to be held on 7 September 2023. The press conference of the contest was in Phnom Penh on 27 July, in which Phnom Penh will be served as the venue for the national costume parade, preliminary competition and the grand final coronation whereas a venue in Phnom Penh will be served as the venue for the swimsuit competition.[3] [4]
