Mohamed Shaheem
Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed is a Maldivian politician. He was Minister of Islamic Affairs from 2012 to 2013 from under President Mohammed Waheed Hassan and later the unsuccessful running mate of President Abdulla Yameen in the 2018 Maldivian presidential election.[1]
He was then appointed Chancellor of Islamic University of Maldives.[2] In 2020 he became a political adviser to the opposition Progressive Party of Maldives.[3]
