2022
The 2022 bypoll gained significant attention as a bellwether for either the further dominance of BRS or the increasing incursion of BJP in the state, with various state-level politicians from each party campaigning the constituency and rumors of high spending and various offers made to influence voters.[1][2] BRS's Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy won the Munugode bypoll with a margin of 10,113 votes.[3]
