Synopsis

Set in Stamford, Connecticut, this sitcom follows an Upper Middle Class African American family. Michael Kyle Sr., the family patriarch, thinks he commands his family, but his day-trader wife Janet, gangsta rap-worshipping son Michael Jr., and broody daughters Claire and Kady remind him every day that his dream is just...a dream. Despite this, Michael has his own way of knowing his home will be traditional.
