Never Give an Inch: Fighting for the America I Love is a memoir by Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo the former US Secretary of State. Published on January 24, 2023 by Broadside Books. In his new book Pompeo devotes a significant portion to US-Saudi relations and defends the need for close ties with Riyadh. he said the media was trying to “fracture” Washington’s ties with Saudi Arabia. He says in his book about Bin Salman:

“Much of this had to do with Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the heir to the Saudi throne,” the former top US diplomat writes. “The progressive Left hates MBS, in spite of the fact that he is leading the greatest cultural reform in the Kingdom’s history.[1]

in the 2018 murder of Washington Post contributing columnist Jamal Khashoggi. Pompeo’s sympathies lie squarely with the Saudi ruler in his book. After all, he contends, Khashoggi was not a “journalist” (he puts the word in sarcastic quotes) but a political activist. After the killing sparked outrage.[2]

Mike Pompeo, has dedicated a chapter of his book to the execution of the planning and operation to kill Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.The former foreign minister wrote that America also raised the proposal to kill Qassem Soleimani for this proposal and the plan of Soleimani's trip from Syria to Iraq and from Iraq to Iran in order to gain the consent of the President of the United States, Trump.[3] in this book, heaps praise on Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and has kind words for Volodymyr Zelenskiy.[4]

He writes “I'm troubled by the evil that has befallen his country,” Pompeo writes of Ukraine, a year into the Russian invasion. He also says he is “encouraged” that Zelenskiy, a “onetime Jerry Seinfeld” has “turned into a kind of General Patton”.[4]

He refers to “mayhem at the Capitol” on 6 January 2021 and targets the “left” for looking to exploit the day’s events.[4]
