Nicolas Jover

Career

Born in Berlin, Jover started his coaching career at Montpellier as a video analyst and was assisting several managers such as René Girard, Jean Fernandez and Frédéric Hantz at Stade de la Mosson from July 2009 to Jun 2019. When he was working at Montpellier, he took a match analyst role at Croatia as a brief spell in 2013. Then, He moved to England as an assistant coach of Dean Smith at Brentford from July 2016 and be a part of Smith's successor Thomas Frank's coaching team until June 2019. In the summer of 2019 in July, Manchester City appointed Jover as an assistant to Pep Guardiola, specializing at set pieces where he met Mikel Arteta who was performing No.2 at Etihad. Arteta has left Manchester City for Arsenal's Manager job in December 2019 and he then persuaded Jover to join at North London in July 2021. Jover is currently acting as the same position he has done at Man City, a set piece coach of Arsenal.
