Nodle

Nodle is an enterprise common good blockchain, part of the Polkadot Parachain Network. Nodle is a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) launched in 2017.[1] Nodle uses smartphones with bluetooth to create basic Mesh Networks for connecting Bluetooth enabled IoT devices. Using Smartphones as a wireless network has since been adopted by Apple for FindMy, Amazon Sidewalk, Helium and others.

History

Nodle was launched in 2017 and released as standalone blockchain in 2020. The Network was created by Firechat founder Micha Benoliel, Garrett Kinsman and Eliott Teissonniere.[2] Nodle became a Polkadot Parachain in 2022.[3]

The Physical infrastructure network is currently used as a Bluetooth asset tracking network.

Technical details

Nodle is Polkatot Parachain 2026, being the 11th auction.[4] The Network consists of a Mobile App, which rewards users for contributing to the network and an Enterprise API for connecting devices.
