Olomu

Olomu is a Kingdom in Delta State, Nigeria. Olomu is one of the oldest kingdoms in Urhobo ethnic nationality of the Niger Delta region.

The paramount ruler of Olomu is known as Ohworode (King) R' Olomu. The current king is His Royal Majesty Macaulay Ovbagbedia, Uhurhie-Osadjere II. He is the grandson of HRM Ovedje Osadjere 1, Ohworode R' Olomu (1924-1949) [1]

The Ohworode R' Olomu stool is rotated among the three ruling houses of Olomu Kingdom. They're the Uhurhie Ruling House, Oghoro Ruling House and Eyanvwien Ruling House.

Olomu Kingdom was founded by a prince of the Oba of Benin empire, Igboeze, in today's present Edo State.
