Once upon a Crime (2023 film)
Once Upon a Crime (Japanese name: 赤ずきん、旅の途中で死体と出会う Akazukin, tabi no tochū de shitai to deau, meaning Little Red Riding Hood, on her journey, encounters a corpse) is a 2023 fantasy comedy, crime mystery film, starring Kanna Hashimoto, Yuko Araki and others.[1][2] The film was directed by Yūichi Fukuda. The story combines the story of Cinderella with a crime, and adds Little Red Riding Hood as a character.

Plot
Little Red Riding Hood meets Cinderella in the woods, they together meet witches and express their desire to go to the local castle's ballroom dance. The witches give them pretty dresses, shoes and a carriage driven by an anthropomorphic mouse. On their way to castle, they run over a corpse and, upon a closer look, LRRH develops detective skills. They hide the corpse and proceed to the ball, where Cinderalla has a dance with the prince until guards report the finding of the corpse.
