Island cusk-eel

The island cusk-eel (Ophidion zavalai) is a species of cusk-eel from the Ophidiidae family,[1] its discovery was made through taxonomic revisions of the band cusk-eel (Ophidion holbrookii) on the coast of southeastern Brazil, more specifically on Laje da Conceição Island, where its type locality is given.[2][3][4]
