Euxesta notata
Euxesta notata is a species of ulidiid or picture-winged fly in the genus Euxesta of the family Ulidiidae.[3] It is found in Canada.[1] As a larva it is referred to as the spotted root maggot, and has evolved genetic resistance against DDT.[4]
