History

Kis FM started in Gandul, Cinere, Bogor (now part of Depok) in 1991. It is the youngest of Ramako group radio stations. Since its creation in 1991, it targeted young adults with consistent programming from the 1990s to its 2000 acquisition by MARI.[1] This station's all-day rock music show called Rock Weekend every Saturday and its all-day slow music show called Wednesday Slow Machine maintained its popularity. These programs ended in 2000. Without an early announcement, fans went angrily to the station, demanding that these shows return.

As protests to the Kis FM format arose, MARI altered the programming of upcoming Most Radio 105.8 FM, which play rock and metal with some of 70s, 80s and 90s.

In June 2003, Kis FM old program like Wednesday Slow Machine return as Kis Love Machine on Friday, Rock Weekend program now on Most Radio every Saturday.
