Pablo Herrán
Pablo Herrán de Viu is a Spanish writer. He was born in Mallorca in 1986. He studied filmmaking in New York, where he also founded the Screen Loud Film Festival. He has since returned to Madrid, where he writes for Vice and Shangaya among others.
An accomplished poet, Herran won the Els Jocs Florals prize for Catalan poetry three years in a row, and he was also named Mestre en Gai Saber. His first novel Manuel Bergman appeared in 2018. A second novel Mientras pudimos followed in 2020. He has also published short stories, and translated the autobiography of the American photographer Weegee into Spanish.[1]
He was named one of the 10 de 30 group of promising young Spanish writers in 2019.
