Parbatta Subdistrict
Parbatta Subdistrict is a subdistrict in Khagaria district of the Indian state of Bihar. In India, a subdistrict is responsible for the administration and revenue collection of a particular area within the district. It is an important part of the local governance structure, and plays a crucial role in the development and administration of its local community.

Local Administrative Regions
History
Parbatta Subdistrict was a part of Bhagalpur before 1874. In June 1874, Pargana Parbatta along with Sakhrabadi, Darra, Singhaul and Kharagpur were transferred from Bhagalpur to Munger, together with tappas Lowdah and Simrawan and 281 villages from parganas Sahuri and Lakhanpur. Later on May 10, 1981, when Khagaria was separated from Munger, it became a part of Khagaria as a Subdistrict/CD Block.
