Pari Haupapa Cliffs

The Pari Haupapa Cliffs (78°28′00″S 161°53′00″E) are bold, ice-covered cliffs that extend north–south between Wirdnam Glacier and Mount Tricouni on the east side of the Lower Staircase of Skelton Glacier. The cliffs are 4 nautical miles (7.4 km) long and rise to over 1,000 metres (3,300 ft). Pari Haupapa, a Māori name meaning "ice cliffs", was applied by the New Zealand Geographic Board in 1994.
