Path to Nowhere (Japanese: 無期迷途; Korean: 무기미도) is a strategic role-playing game developed and published by Chinese developers Aisno Games on 27 October 2022.[1]

Gameplay

In Path to Nowhere, players assume the role of the chief of the Minos Bureau of Crisis Control (MBCC), where they control and command the character called a "Sinner" to discover uncharted territories and unveil the reality behind numerous enigmatic occurrences.[2]

The "Sinners" are a group of mutated and dangerous convicts. They have lost their minds, but gained extraordinary abilities.[2]

Assemble units based on the "Sinner's" unique abilities and strategize to defeat enemies by using the "Sinner's" powerful ultimate abilities in battle.[3] In addition, powerful enemies with "cores" can be destroyed by using an ultimate skill. [3] The enemy whose "core" is temporarily in a break state will then be unable to act and the damage taken will be greatly increased.[3]

Reception

Pocket Gamer UK gave the game a score of 90/100 and wrote the following review on Metacritic: Path to Nowhere is a compelling tower defence RPG with stunning visuals that make collecting characters an absolute thrill.[4]
