Pestalopezia

Pestalopezia is a genus of fungi in the family Helotiaceae.[2] The genus contains three species.[3]

The genus name of Pestalopezia is in honour of Fortunato Pestalozza (died 1878), who was an Italian botanist and doctor who worked in Constantinople and Antalya.[4]

The genus was circumscribed by Fred Jay Seaver in Mycologia vol.34 (Issue 3) on page 300 in 1942.
