Peter David John CBE FBA is a British academic and educator, currently the Vice Chancellor of the University of West London. He previously served as the Pro-Vice Chancellor and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Plymouth.[1]

John was awarded a CBE in the Queen's 2020 New Year honours list for his outstanding work and service to higher education.[2] He was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 2023.[3]
