Petrus Kilian
Petrus Johannes Justus Daniel Kilian (born 24 February 1850, Harrismith, Orange Free State - died 10 November 1941, Heidelberg, Transvaal, South Africa) was a South African military leader and member of the Heidelberg Commando.[1] His father, Justus Daniel Kilian, was a Voortrekker. He was largely of French, Dutch and German descent (He was an Afrikaner). He was also one of the leaders of the Dutch Reformed Church of Heidelberg.

Battle of Majuba
A newspaper article published in 1933, 8 years prior to Kilian's death, stated that he was the last survivor of the battle of Majuba. Kilian fought in 6 South African wars against the British. In the article it states that he was a commandant, in wich he thoroughly describes the battle.
