Fairly self-explanatory, I hope; a good photo of one of London's more impressive buildings. – iridescent 17:49, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Quite nicely framed - do you carry a spray can to get the semi-symmetrical flight trails? Support - mine has a persistent wheelchair at the entrance. Kbthompson (talk) 17:54, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, don't blame me, I just nominated it! Although a couple of these were taken by me, most aren't – mine tend to be concentrated in the Haringey and West-Westminster (is that a word?) areas I've done the most work on. I deliberately nominated a lot of different pictures on different topics and from different areas, to give us the luxury of rejection and make this a genuine vote rather than just deciding which order to put them in. – iridescent 18:19, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Because the photogenic stuff is concentrated in zone 1 & Greenwich, this page neglects the suburbs. Just a generally nice picture (it has Featured Picture status, but with no disrespect to the photographer I can't see why – but it's still a good and interesting photo.) – iridescent 17:49, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- As you say, the verticals aren't vertical and I think there's a more interesting place to stand for the composition - but none the less, a support for an interesting pic. Kbthompson (talk) 14:01, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

A storm brewing behind Richmond Bridge. Not much more that can really be said. – iridescent 17:49, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Actually, adding one more; this one, of a disused WW2 gun emplacement protecting Putney Railway Bridge, combines the three key London themes of the war, public transport, and the Thames. – iridescent 18:28, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Support per nom. The picture itself is not spectacular, in fact it is quite dull, but it undoubtedly signifies the history of London in a picture. WackyWace talk to me, people 16:26, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Another building people forget exists. I like the juxtaposition of the ruins and the grimy Thamesmead tower blocks behind. Your mileage may vary. – iridescent 17:49, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Support on what it includes, oppose on image quality. Simply south (talk) 13:40, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose purely for the poor image quality. WackyWace talk to me, people 16:29, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
