Rahul Varun

Rahul Varun (born Rahul Mishra; 5 August 1993)[1][3] is a Bollywood journalist and actor.[4][5] He is best known for playing the role of Mohit Malhotra in the 2020 Hindi-language comedy film Pagleaazam.[6][7][8][9] He is the founder of The Filmy Charcha,[10][11] a Mumbai-based news agency.[12][13][14]

Early life

Rahul Varun was born on 5 August 1993 in Madhubani, a City Municipal Corporation and headquarters of Madhubani district, to a Hindu Mishra family of Shyamanand Mishra and Sunita Devi.[1][15] He married Nidhi Mishra in 2021.[1][15]

Education

Rahul Varun grew up in Madhubani, completed his primary education at Samaj High School, Madhubani, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Ram Krishna College, Madhubani, Bihar.[15] After graduation, he did a Diploma in Mass Communication from MET Institute of Mass Media, Mumbai, Maharashtra.[15]
