Rajavaram (Rowthulapudi Mandal)

Rajavaram is a Town in Koyyalagudem Mandal, Eluru district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.It is having town cadre due to the 20,000 population living in and around the premises of the Rajavaram. Town is also famous for clothe showrooms, rice mills, saw mills, public and private schools, private hospital,medical shops, pesticide, fertilizer shops, Masjids, petrol bunks, many temples, computer centers,studios, kirana complexes, Andhra Bank and ICICI banks, corn buying centres, L.I.C offices, electric substations etc. The upcoming town is also spreaded to nearly 3 kilometers from end to end. There is a high demand for the upcoming town to be upgraded as Mandal status with the merging of the surrounding villages like Gangavaram, Yerrampeta, Kethavaram, Thirumalapuram, Kanakadripuram,IS Jagannadhapuram, IS Raghavapuram, Gollagudem.IS Jagannadhapuram, IS Raghahavapuram, Gollagudem people are suffering a lot to reach their mandal Dwarakathirumala with a longer distance.There is a huge and high demand for Public Health centre and APSRTC buses from Chintalapudi to Nidadavole route, Tadepalligudem to Jangareddygudem, Nidadavole to Dwarakathirumala via IS Jagannadhapuram. Rajamahendravaram bus from Dwarakathirumala to Rajahmundry. There is also a demand for Check post or Police station for wood transport and sand issues and many social issues..[1]

Demographics

As of 2011 India census, Rajavaram town had a population of 8,000, out of which 3800 were male and 4200 were female. Population of children below 6 years of age were 450. The literacy rate of the village is 58.64%.[2]
