Rashad Richey

Dr. Rashad Richey is an adjunct professor and Director of Institutional Advancement & Corporate Relations at Morris Brown College and a political commentator.[1]

Richey was nominated for an Emmy as a television news analyst and political analyst. He is a regular commentator on MSNBC, CNBC, BBC, The Young Turks Network, and Fox News Channel. He is also a radio character, voted "Best Talk Radio Personality in Atlanta" by readers of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (the first African American to receive this award) and named "Most Trusted Voice in Atlanta" by Business Magazine of Atlanta. In addition to his television appearances, Richey is an editor and senior editor for Rolling Out Magazine (America's largest free urban magazine) with a national audience of 2.8 million.

Richey is active in political reform and addressing racial disparity. This work has resulted in Richey being recognized by various local and national authorities for his collective work and community impact, including being honored with the President's Call to Service Award. Richey was also named one of Georgia's 40 Most Influential People Under 40 by Atlanta Business Chronicle and one of Atlanta's Most Powerful Executives by Atlanta Magazine. He was appointed to the Black Radio Hall of Fame.[2][3]
