Seegers, an alumnus of Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool in Pretoria, played collegiate tennis for the UCLA Bruins in 1973. He was a mixed doubles quarter-finalist at the 1974 Wimbledon Championships, partnering American Carrie Meyer.[1]
