Raül Refree

Raül Fernández Miró (Barcelona, 1976), better known as Raül Refree, is a Spanish music producer, musician and composer.

Career

In 1996, Raül joined the melodic hardcore group from Barcelona, Corn Flakes.[1]

In 2007, he created with the Argentinian musician Ernesto Snajer the show "Immigrasons" about migratory flows between Catalonia and Argentina, commissioned by Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (MMVV). He initiated with this project a long and successful artistic relationship with Sílvia Pérez Cruz (singer of Las Migas at the moment). He contributed to works commissioned by the MMVV in 2008 with the Mexicans Cabezas de Cera and Juan Pablo Villa in the album Vientos y lugares. In the same year, he directed and arranged the show OJO con la Mala, with Mala Rodríguez and the Original Jazz Orchestra del Taller de Músics, and was awarded the Premi Ciutat de Barcelona.[2]

In 2014, he released a duo album with Sílvia Pérez Cruz, granada [3]

In 2017, he released a duo album with Rosalía, Los Ángeles . On both albums Raül is co-author, artist, producer, guitarist and arranger.

His musical productions combine experimental rock, flamenco, folklore, and pop with occasional jazz influences, according to the project.[4]

He has produced songs and albums for Guitarricadelafuente, Ricky Martin, Rosalía, Niño de Elche, Rodrigo Cuevas,[1] Luisa Sobral, Lee Ranaldo.[5]
