Robert Bittenbender

Robert Bittenbender is an American mixed media artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York.[3][4] In 2019, Bittenbender was selected to participate in the Whitney Biennial 2019.[5]

Artistic practice

Bittenbender's work often consists of complex assemblages, using a spectrum of materials from found materials, printed materials, zip-ties, photographs, paint, purchased materials, and/or others.[6] Their works have been described as "complex nests."[7]
