Playing career

Järventie was drafted in the second round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft by the Senators with the 33rd overall pick.[1] On 27 April 2021, Järventie was signed to a three-year, entry-level deal with the Senators.[2] Järventie was assigned to Ottawa's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Belleville Senators for the 2022–23 season. Early in the season, he suffered a significant knee injury that sidelined him for three months. He returned to Belleville's lineup in March.[3] Despite a strong 2023 training camp, on October 8, 2023, Järventie was sent to Belleville to start the 2023–24 season.[4]
