Saad Saood Jan

Saad Saood Jan (1931–2005) was a Pakistani jurist.

Career

During his career, Jan was Joint Secretary for the Ministry of Law and Secretary to the Parliamentary Affairs Division.[1][2] As a jurist, he served on the Lahore High Court, Supreme Court of Pakistan (1986), and twice as its acting Chief Justice.[3][4]

Jan was a member of the Hague Permanent Court of Arbitration's National Group and was appointed by the UN as a Judge for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in 1996, succeeding Rustam S. Sidhwa.[5]
